You will rarely see a photo of the Power family without at least one or two (or sometimes up to four!) furry friends in attendance. Like so many of you, we are dog and cat people to the core.
The stages of our lives have been defined by the pets we have been blessed to own.

QUICKLY FOR OUR PETS
Going back to 1970, when Snoopy was my faithful companion, to today's sidekicks Cassie, Drizzle, Fluffy and Allie, we are always aware our time with our treasured pets is measured. We have lost pets to distemper, heart disease, cancer and other accidents. Most have lived to be 10 or more, and our Rex lived to be 15.
Over the years we have tried just about everything to remedy the many ailments a pet may have. Some with success. Some without.

We were constantly mindful of the harmful side effects caused by many of the drugs currently prescribed. We were mindful of the balance between the benefits of seeing a dogs mobility returned and the chance of side effects. It's a decision all pet owners struggle with.
